Cordae’s New “Super” Video is Breaking the Internet

These days, the name Cordae is nothing short of iconic. Bringing the combination of meaningful art and music to new heights or in other words a very “Hi-Level”. His new single “Super” is packed with heavy lyricism with a head bopping melody, and accompanied by one of the best music videos I have seen in a very long time.

Cordae Cola

Cordae’s visuals never disappoint, but he continues to move the bar higher and higher with each video concept. The cordae cola is sure to catch your eye and by the end of the video you’ll be wondering where you can get a can (hinting at a potential collab coming soon👀). The red theme throughout is subtle yet attention grabbing and the video accents Cordae’s new label “Hi-Level” as well as his Puma sponsorship with some fantastic apparel.

If you haven’t realized Cordae is going about music quite differently than many mainstream artists making sure to make impactful moves at every step and catching the attention of other prolific musicians along the way. In his single he states he had to drop YBN because they did not own their masters, and if you are a music fan you understand in this day and age how important that is to make sure artists are properly compensated for their work. The music can be a gateway to many other businesses, but only if one goes about it correctly. Cordae not only understands the art/music side of being a musician, but also shows a deep understanding for the business side of things. He has made it known that he is here to stay and as a fan I cannot wait to see what the future entails.

His last EP “Just Until…”, hoisting features from Q Tip and Young Thug was timed perfectly between his last album “The Lost Boy” and the upcoming one “ A Bird’s Eye View” as he made sure to leave his fans with something new to keep them engaged. He often interacts with his fans on social media and has been making waves in all forms of the media being the first rapper to return something at the counter of the Complex Shoe store, as well as laying tracks on Netflix’s “We the People” and “Spider-man: Into the spider verse” with Denzel Curry.

All this to say, if you don’t know the name Cordae you will know it very soon. His new single is nothing short of jaw dropping and I highly recommend watching the video as it adds a different layer of depth to the track. Cordae has set a new bar for this upcoming album and I’m sure he wouldn’t want it any other way.
